Job Description

Work experience:

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in the same Executive Level or similar position
  • Familiar with all duties and procedures in the Sales Operations field
  • Two years Opera experience is essential
  • Knowledge of yielding and revenue management
  • Exceptional upselling skills, including tours, packages and tourism experiences



  • Knowledge of the latest sales and marketing trends
  • A passion for dealing with client directly and offering excellent and professional service
  • Willingness to lead, take charge and offer direction
  • Ability to multitask
  • Exceptional customer care and service delivery
  • Problem solving abilities and ability to manage customer issues and team

Tasks (include but not limited to):

Human Resources:

  • Maintain staff job results by counselling, planning, monitoring and appraising job results, including progressive discipline where applicable
  • Completes sales operational requirements by following up on work results
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contract and rapport with top management
  • Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service
  • Recruitment of staff (including orientation and training)
  • Prepare salaries/wages
  • Conduct performance appraisals
  • Administer monthly tests
  • Maintain staff files

Reporting / Office Administration:

  • Implementation and supervision of reporting and feedback
  • Implementing and driving review management systems
  • Comparison of results vs targets
  • Analysis of all reviews, providing feedback on results and assessment of staff productivity

Systems Management:

  • Research and propose systems that contribute to overall staff and company performance and efficiency
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in sales and call centre technology systems
  • Managing, monitoring and testing of travel support centre mail and call responses
  • Management of travel support centre software
  • Opera (PMS) knowledge


  • Manages all sales policies, practices and procedures ensuring company resources are efficiently and effectively applied
  • Manage the sales administration function:
  • o operational performance reporting
  • o streamlining processes and systems wherever possible
  • o creating an environment where customer service can flourish
