Warehouse Manager – Hospitality Amenity – Johannesburg South
Our client is a dynamic team of individuals who make it their mission to provide and supply the our industry with personalized amenities and equipment, and are looking for a results-drive Warehouse Manager.
Description:
Warehouse managers supervise deliveries of goods into warehouses and ensure products are accounted for, are stored safely and securely, and are despatched efficiently to customers. They also manage warehouse staff, which includes ensuring that they are working safely
Duties
Managing warehouse staff
Inform the purchasing department of the stock needed to order
Keeping stock list up to date
Managing the dispatch / receiving staff
Checking for damages on stock arriving and leaving with dispatch team
Check stock arriving from suppliers against invoice with purchasing department, to oversee this function with dispatch / receiving team
Packing orders when necessary
Ensure that shelf stock is packed on a daily basis to ensure good stock levels on fast-moving items
Ensure that all orders are labeled correctly before leaving the warehouse
General stock control
Weighing parcels
Booking couriers
You will be required to perform the following daily duties
Working out the route with purchasing for our drivers daily route on the road
Computer knowledge of Word / Excel / Outlook is essential
Knowledge of Quickbooks will be beneficial
General adhoc work where necessary
General driving (you will be required to have a valid driving license)
