Please note that you will need funds for the visa application. At this current time, you will need approximately R25,000 for your TB Medical, English test and one way flight to the UK (plus funds to live off until you get paid)
Our client, a bespoke local deli, and bakery in the heart of Edinburgh is expanding their operation and are looking for Shop Managers. They pride themselves on serving Cornish pasties, pies, sausage rolls, freshly made baguettes, and wraps, celebrating the best of locally sourced Scottish ingredients. They also take their coffee as seriously as their croissants, serving their own artisanal blend from Edinburgh Coffee Roasters. You will be responsible for the efficient and well organised operation throughout trading hours of the bakehouse.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the efficient well organised operation of the bakehouse
- Leading the team
- Following the baking program is followed throughout the day
- Responsible for the quality of the product
- Maintaining an enthusiastic, highly motivated working environment
- Warmly greeting customers and serving them
- Maximising & promoting the sales of all products
- Liaising with Operations Manager, Shop Manager & Bakery Manager
- Completing administrative tasks – including daily sales, cash handling
- Providing a professional and warm customer service across all points
- Assisting with all aspects of shop operation including: shop start up, food preparation, baking, barista, stock rotation, efficient manning levels, shop shut down
- Above all, providing 5-star customer service, which exceeds guest expectations!
Requirements:
- NB: You will need to qualify for a 3 year Skilled Worker Visa to work in the United Kingdom. This visa is easily renewable if you wish to stay and get a British passport.
