Located in the bustling heart of Camps Bay, our restaurant is a premier dining destination known for its exquisite cuisine and exceptional service. We are seeking a diligent and experienced Stock Controller to join our dynamic team.

As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and profitability of our restaurant by managing inventory and stock levels.

This role is Monday to Friday (office hours), half day on Saturday

Description:

– Monitoring and managing inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
– Conducting regular stock takes and audits to ensure accuracy.
– Coordinating with suppliers to place orders and manage deliveries.
– Ensuring all stock is stored correctly and rotated according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
– Identifying and addressing discrepancies or issues in stock levels.
– Working closely with the kitchen and management teams to forecast demand and prevent shortages or overstocking.
– Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Stock Controller, preferably in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.

– strong excel skills, also POS an advantage
– Strong organizational and time-management skills.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Proficiency in inventory management software.
