Spa Therapist – Luxury Lodge – Limpopo

Join our client’s team at a prestigious luxury lodge as a Spa Therapist, providing exceptional spa experiences amidst breathtaking natural surroundings. This is a live-in position offering a competitive salary range of R7,000 – R7,500 per month. As a Spa Therapist, you will immerse guests in rejuvenating treatments, ensuring their stay is nothing short of extraordinary.


  • Administer a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, and wraps, adhering to our high standards of service.
  • Tailor treatments to the individual needs and preferences of each guest, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
  • Maintain a clean and serene spa environment, upholding hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
  • Provide detailed explanations of treatments, products, and services to guests, offering guidance and recommendations as needed.
  • Uphold professional and courteous communication with guests, colleagues, and management, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with other lodge staff to ensure seamless guest experiences and uphold the lodge’s reputation for excellence.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of spa therapy.


  • Possess a relevant qualification in somatology or a related field; certification in massage therapy is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years working in spa environments, preferably within a lodge or luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional spa treatments with attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional service to guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, adapting to dynamic work environments and guest preferences.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule of 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off, accommodating the demands of the lodge’s operation.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions and duties.
