An award winning Gastro Pub Restaurant in the UK Countryside (rural Norfolk) is seeking a Sous Chef from South Africa with 5-7 years experience in great establishments. The restaurant offers upmarket casual dining of great quality and standard.
We are looking for individuals that will bring new ideas to menu’s, bring energy and experience to the kitchen and ultimately will embrace the challenges of moving across the globe and cooking for an unfamiliar audience, using unfamiliar ingredients, with relish.
Must be hard working, dedicated, loyal, affable individuals, who will grow with the business and stay with the establishment for the long-term.
Must have a drivers licence
The company will sponsor candidates and is offering a THREE-YEAR UK SPONSORSHIP. This cost will be carried by the company to get chefs there and is approximately 3500 Pounds Stirling (R70000)
However, the company will not cover the cost of the TB test, English Proficiency test and the one way flight to the UK. These costs for the candidate are a sign of good faith and commitment to the role, as the client is paying a massive visa cost (approximately R12,000)
Visas are easily extendable and can lead to citizenship after 7 years if you wish to get a British passport!
