Sous Chef – 5* Hotel – Cape Town
Are you a culinary artist with a passion for crafting exquisite dishes? An outstanding opportunity awaits for a Sous Chef at a prestigious establishment in Cape Town. Join our client’s dynamic kitchen team and contribute to the creation of exceptional culinary experiences.
Position: Sous Chef
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Salary: R18,000 – R22,000 (Depending on Experience)
Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop creative and diverse menus.
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain food quality and hygiene standards.
Contribute to the development of new recipes and techniques.
Oversee inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
Culinary qualification from a recognized institution.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
