Exciting Opportunity for a Talented Sous Chef in a Premier Coastal Establishment!

Are you a culinary enthusiast with a passion for crafting exceptional dishes? We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to join our client’s culinary team as a Sous Chef at their distinguished coastal retreat.

Position: Sous Chef

Location: Breathtaking Coastal Destination

Salary: Competitive, R17,000 per month

Start Date: Immediate

Description:

Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute a diverse and innovative menu.

Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes with precision and creativity.

Manage a variety of culinary tasks, including a la carte, room service, and banqueting.

Ensure consistency in food quality and adherence to established standards.

Contribute to menu planning and development based on seasonal availability.

Work with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Utilize experience with Micros and Opera systems for efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a hospitality setting.

Proficiency in a la carte, room service menu, and banqueting.

Familiarity with Micros and Opera systems is highly beneficial.

Culinary qualifications and a passion for culinary arts.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
