Social Media Coordinator – Luxury Game Reserve – Limpopo

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing our social media presence across platforms like Facebook and Instagram, as well as coordinating various events and initiatives. Description:

  • Curate and post captivating content on Facebook and Instagram regularly, ensuring a diverse mix of photos and videos.
  • Plan weekly content themes, covering a range of topics such as wildlife sightings, lodge events, culinary delights, and team highlights.
  • Produce engaging blog posts, with an emphasis on wildlife experiences and other relevant subjects, accompanied by compelling visuals.
  • Encourage user-generated content and interaction, including capturing guest moments and fostering community engagement.
  • Collaborate with guides to showcase a variety of experiences and elevate our social media presence.
  • Respond promptly to comments and messages across all platforms to enhance our online engagement and reputation.
  • Generate monthly reports analyzing social media performance and trends.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to provide imagery for promotional purposes.
  • Infuse posts with creative language and emojis to maintain an engaging social media presence.
  • Assist in conceptualizing and executing new events and initiatives.
  • Manage communications and awareness campaigns related to these events.
  • Support fundraising efforts and report on outcomes.
  • Capture and promote event highlights on various platforms, including our website, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Contribute to the development of website content and marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media management.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and tools.
  • Strong familiarity with Facebook and Instagram platforms.
  • Ability to create compelling content, including photos, videos, and blogs.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Creative thinking and an ability to engage audiences effectively through social media.
