Senior Sous Chef – 5* Hotel & Restaurant – Camps Bay/Cape Town

Our luxurious 5* Hotel & Restaurant is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join their vibrant team and will be responsible for managing the kitchen team under the supervision of the Head Chef and assume responsibility for the kitchen function in the Head Chef’s absence


  • Support the head chef
  • Managing kitchen staff
  • Designing menus with the Head Chef
  • Cooking
  • Setting budget
  • Managing culinary operations
  • Directing food preparations
  • Managing kitchen staff


  • Minimum of 3-5 Years of cooking experience in a medium-sized kitchen, in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients and procedures
  • Understanding of kitchen procedure and timing requirements, able to plan accordingly
  • Wide food knowledge, able to design menus/flavor profiles
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Chef
  • Must have excellent Plating and Presentation skills
  • Senior Certificate
