Senior Chef de Partie – 5* Luxury Lodge – Western Cape
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join their team at a prestigious game reserve. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food is consistently produced and presented to guests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
Ensure that food is consistently produced and presented to a high standard
Assist with inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Monitor food costs and assist with ensuring profitability
Assist the Chef de Cuisine with menu planning and execution
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine
Experience in managing and supervising kitchen staff
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
