International Tour Operating Company in East Africa is looking for a Sales Manager to be based at in Arusha, Nairobi.
Understand and maximize the complex relationships and buying patterns in our multichannel business
Manage markets and assist in creation and implementation of agreed sales strategies and market plans to effectively penetrate identified markets.
Manage an effective and target driven Sales Network and able to sell both a lodge and integrated travel business
Identify, prioritise and a current knowledge of key players in the respective markets, with the ability to network with, develop these and other key relationships
Execute strategies by representing the brand at a senior level with key industry figures and key clients
Accountability for delivery on agreed revenue budgets for lodges
Revenue Generation and Strategic Responsibilities that involve Sales Management & Development, Sales/Brand Representation & Negotiating
Finance, General, Health and Safety
Conduct one-on-one review with market Sales Teams members to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance
Provide timely feedback to market Sales Teams regarding performance
Live the company values of Care of the Land, the wildlife and the people,
Demonstrate commercial and yielding acumen with the ability to generate insights and actions from data
A minimum of 3 years proven Sales track record
An applicable Degree or diploma would be advantageous
