Sales and Marketing Manager – Luxury Hotel – N2 Garden Route
We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager for this luxury hotel brand! You will be responsible for driving the effectiveness of the company’s marketing and sales operations across a defined territory. Runs and sustains the Marketing program, whilst providing best practice to all markets, facilitating growth, working towards objectives such as revenue generation, increasing profitability with cost reduction and risk mitigation. Responsible for customer engagement strategies across the business, providing inspired and insightful leadership. Basically leading and participating in the Brand management, Marketing communications (including advertising, promotions and Public relations), market research, sales management, product development, distribution channel management, pricing, and customer service
Duties will include:
-Responsibility for the Division and regularly report on achievements versus budget
-Development of new relationships and nurture current relationships within the hospitality industry (must have existing relationships with Hotels)
-Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, as well as conducting business planning and visits to build market knowledge
-Co –ordinate all activities in support of the channels including account and market launches, communications and key metrics with operational teams.
-Develop the territory marketing plan and brand strategy for current products and future product launches, liaising with the team on execution and development
-Co-ordinate account and market reviews with the Sales team on key metrics and best practice
-Develop and manage efficient distribution networks
-Champion the team in the development of system, procedures, calendar and tools
Qualifications: A first class communicator who will develop and manage relationships with key accounts with the hospitality industry! (you will have existing relationships)
-Have superior consumer skills, commerciality and leadership skills. with ability to prioritize and input into multiple projects
-Strategic thinker with a proven record of sales delivery in a similar environment
-A Strong sales and marketing background with experience
-A strong understanding of brand development in a specialist market
-A strong understanding of product and technical development and operational experience of bringing products to market
-Hard working, driven and with a high level of entrepreneurial flair
-Use to working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
