Busy and beautiful destination venue in JHB South is urgently seeking the skill and services of a Rooms Division / Hotel Manager
Responsibilities:
The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for the overseeing and leading the Front Desk, Guest Services and
Housekeeping departments ensuring the highest standards and customer service.
You are also required to effectively lead, motivate and manage the housekeeping and front office teams.
This includes the recruitment, training and performance management of the housekeeping and front office teams.
The housekeeping manager is also responsible for the strict control and purchasing of all hotel stock within the departmental budgets.
The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping and front office
departments by company standards and guidelines.
Ensure guests’ needs are being met along with company’s core values.
The Rooms Division Manager will also be responsible for Reservations to assure and maximize occupancy rate and revenue and they are also in charge of providing all necessary forecasts.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Hotel School Management Diploma
Knowledge of housekeeping duties to ensure productivity is met and exceeded
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Front Office and Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility required, with at least
5 years of supervisory experience
Package & Remuneration
R35 000 – R45 000 Depending on experience
Shift Work
Weekend Work
Public Holiday Work
