Restaurant Manager – 5* Hotel – Cape Winelands

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join their team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our dining establishment. Your responsibilities will include:
Operational Leadership: Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and maintaining an exquisite dining environment.
Team Management: Leading and motivating a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, and providing guidance to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Guest Relations: Managing guest relations with finesse, addressing concerns promptly, and creating an inviting atmosphere that reflects our client’s commitment to hospitality.
Financial Management: Monitoring and managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue through effective pricing and upselling strategies.
Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and consistency of food, service, and overall guest experience, in alignment with the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
Collaboration: Collaborating with the culinary team, event planners, and other departments to execute flawless dining experiences and special events.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Experience: A proven track record with at least 5 years of managerial experience in high-end dining establishments.
Education: A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
Financial Acumen: Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the restaurant.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
