Reservationist – Luxury Lodge – Battlefields, Kwazulu Natal
Hospitality Jobs Africa is thrilled to present a compelling opportunity for a Reservationist / Front Office Professional to join the team at a luxury lodge in the KZN Battlefields area. This role is integral to delivering outstanding guest experiences, and we are seeking a meticulous and personable individual with expertise in reservations and front office responsibilities.
Accommodation: Enjoy the convenience of a fully serviced en-suite bedroom.
Meals and Laundry: All meals and laundry services provided.
Competitive Salary: From R10000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
Flexibility: Comfortably reside in a beautiful area of KZN, with a schedule including 7 days off per month and extended leave after one year.
Reservation Management: Oversee all reservation aspects using relevant systems and online booking platforms for our properties.
Guest Communication: Maintain excellent communication with the public, agents, and tour operators, ensuring a seamless experience.
Front Office Duties: Manage guest check-in and check-out, with initial preparations handled by the reservationist.
Financial Control: Manage the income schedule, invoices, and deposits, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Guest Hosting: Cultivate a welcoming culture to ensure guests feel comfortable throughout their stay.
Experience: Previous reservations / front office experience is crucial, and familiarity with Semper is highly beneficial.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential, particularly when dealing with British guests.
Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Customer Service: Maintain a calm and welcoming demeanour with outstanding telephone etiquette.
