Operations Assistant/ Stock Controller – 4* Hotel – Umhlanga
Join our client’s team at a prestigious luxury 4-star hotel in captivating Umhlanga as Operations Assistant / Stock Controller. Renowned for exceptional guest experiences and an elegant atmosphere, we’re seeking a skilled Stock Controller to manage inventory and enhance their seamless operations.
Description:
The Stock Controller maintains accurate inventory levels and supply goods for daily functions. Your attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for their smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory records.
- Receive, inspect, and store supplies.
- Coordinate with departments to fulfil stock needs.
- Perform stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Contribute to efficient stock rotation and waste reduction.
- Assist in purchase orders and supplier relationships.
Requirements:
- Prior Stock Controller experience preferred.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Collaborative across departments.
- Inventory software proficiency in Materials Control
- Excellent communication and record-keeping.
- Location: Umhlanga, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa
