Description:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s maintenance operations to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of the property. Your duties will include developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, conducting regular inspections, and coordinating repairs and renovations as needed. You will manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the department budget, sourcing vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaboration with other departments to address maintenance issues and support the overall guest experience will also be key aspects of your role.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a hospitality or facilities management setting
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred
