We are seeking a dynamic and organized Lodge Manager to oversee operations at our clients private lodge in Vilanculos, Mozambique. As the Lodge Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the lodge, from managing staff to maintaining high standards of service delivery. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the success of our clients lodge while enjoying the beauty of Vilanculos.

Description:

• Acting as the Appointed Safeguard Lead.
• Being readily available for communication with staff, head office, and owner.
• Effectively managing the lodge team and utilizing their strengths.
• Setting up and dismantling the lodge venue as needed.
• Maintaining consistent standards of product delivery.
• Participating in debrief meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with all lodge policies.
• Directly communicating with owners parents and managing any grievances.
• Providing daily feedback and reports to the Area Manager.
• Managing all daily processes and procedures.
• Pre-planning daily activities using provided equipment.
• Maintaining up-to-date camp stock inventory and requesting necessary supplies.
• Ensuring all lodge equipment is returned in proper condition.
• Increasing lodge footfall through excellent service and customer retention strategies.
• Demonstrating adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Requirements:

• Must be a Mozambican national or resident.
• Previous experience in lodge management or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
