Our client is Looking for a Lodge Manager / FOH & Head Chef Couple for a Spectacular Luxury Lodge in Limpopo
Lodge manager Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years in a managerial post within a 5* bush establishment with excellent management skills.
Front office experience including reservations with good administrational skills.
Excellent guest relations and go above and beyond.
Excellent administrative skills
Understand HR with disciplinary requirements and be able to act accordingly.
Computer literate – knowledge of Semper would be most welcome.
Basic accounting skills.
Discipline, neat, and well presented.
Team player but fair.
Physically fit and able to attend to bush functions – sleepouts, bush dining.
A driver’s license is essential.
A keen eye for detail
Interest in food and wine knowledge – keep up with the trends and always aim to be one step ahead.
Understanding maintenance and being able to think out of the box should an issue arrive.
Contactable references with no blemishes – all references will be double-checked.
Hospitality hours are applicable.
Head Chef Requirements:
Previous experience as Executive Chef/Head Chef 3/5 years.
Manage food wastage.
Excellent communication skills
Stock control & orders
Excellent hygiene standards
Ensure daily operations are done time effectively
Must be motivated and inspire/train other chefs.
Be able to advise, guide, train, develop and discipline chefs.
Must be able to perform all tasks at hand in the kitchen.
