We are recruiting for a Leisure Complex General Manager to manage the set-up and infrastructure or our sports and & leisure facilities and maintenance programme, increase external membership, promote income generation and ensure the highest possible level of customer service to external and internal users.
Key responsibilities will include driving standards and customer service with the support of the management team, and ensuring the products and services we offer are the best they can be. You
will recruit, coach, develop and motivate the team, be responsible for engaging with current members with an eye to membership retention, and implement incentives to attract new members.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced General Manager, able to lead, inspire and support our growing team. To be considered for this post you will have at least 5 years of management experience within the health and fitness industry, preferably with opening and set-up experience.
The salary for this role ranges from R100 000.00 to R130 000.00 per month dependent on experience. A role is a one-year contract with the option to renew. The first 6 months will be remote and the next 6 months (6 months before opening day) will be at the facility.
Relevant Sports Science or Fitness higher national diploma or degree will be required;
