Description:

As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering top-quality meals to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
• Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
• Developing and implementing menus that meet customer preferences and budgetary requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Monitoring food costs and working with management to optimize profitability.
• Handling any kitchen-related issues or emergencies that may arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• Excellent culinary skills and a creative approach to menu development.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must have own transport for commuting to and from work.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.
