We are urgently seeking a Junior Safari Guide to join our client’s team, offering a competitive salary, live-in accommodation, and meals. The salary for this position is between R7,500 and R9,000 per month, inclusive of live-in accommodation and meals.

Description:

As a Junior Safari Guide, you will be responsible for providing informative and engaging safari experiences for our clients guests. Your key responsibilities include:

Guiding: Conducting safari activities and nature walks, sharing your knowledge about the local flora and fauna.

Guest Interaction: Interacting with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Safety: Prioritizing the safety and well-being of guests during all safari activities.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and reporting any issues with safari vehicles.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with other guides and lodge staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Environmental Stewardship: Promoting conservation awareness and sustainable tourism practices.

Requirements:

FGASA Qualifications: Must hold a minimum FGASA Level 1 qualification.

Passion for Wildlife: Genuine interest in and passion for the natural environment and wildlife.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues, with a humble and approachable demeanor.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to the safety and well-being of guests.
