We are seeking an experienced and qualified Cook to join our team at an industrial site in Dwaalboom, North West Province. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role and a relevant culinary qualification. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for the site staff, ensuring that all meals meet the required nutritional standards and are prepared in a timely manner

Description:

– Prepare and cook meals according to the menu plan, ensuring that all meals are nutritious and meet dietary requirements.

– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

– Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and available.

– Assist in menu planning, taking into account the preferences and dietary needs of the staff.

– Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and used safely.

– Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak meal times.

– Adhere to the company’s health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of food.

Requirements:

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cook in a similar setting.

– Relevant culinary qualification.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

– Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
