Human Resources Manager – Game Lodge – Skukuza, Mpumalanga 

Are you an experienced and dynamic Human Resources professional looking for a challenging role in a unique and vibrant setting? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our client’s team as a Human Resources Manager at their Game Lodge in Skukuza. As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their organizational culture and ensuring the effective provision of HR and Industrial Relations services.

Description:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, monitoring, and controlling the provision of a comprehensive HR & IR service to the Group.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR & IR policies and procedures and implementing sound HR management practices.
  • Overseeing and managing the implementation of practices and objectives that promote an employee-oriented, high-performance culture.
  • Emphasising empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, and goal attainment.
  • Leading the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
  • Manage recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the selection of top-tier talent.
  • Oversee the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in a diverse and dynamic work environment.
  • Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in the hospitality or lodge industry is a plus.
