Description:
✔️ Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, setting performance standards and fostering a positive work culture.
✔️ Oversee daily cleaning operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry services.
✔️ Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, and manage inventory efficiently.
✔️ Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
✔️ Create and manage work schedules, assignments, and staffing levels to optimise productivity.
✔️ Address guest requests, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously.
✔️ Assist in the development and management of the housekeeping budget, controlling costs and expenses.
✔️ Conduct staff training and development programs to maintain high service standards.
✔️ Maintain safety protocols and ensure staff compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
✔️ Prepare reports related to housekeeping performance, expenses, and inventory management.
✔️ Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors for housekeeping-related services.
✔️ Promote sustainability and eco-friendly practices in housekeeping operations.
Requirements:
✔️ Graduated or enroled in a Hospitality, Tourism, or culinary school.
✔️ Should not hold or have held a Housekeeping Manager title before ( only Supervisor positions will be accepted)
✔️ Should you not have a NQF 5 or 6 qualification you need 5 years experience in only 4/5-star establishment.
✔️ Recent hospitality experience of 6 months or more in a 4/5-star establishment.
✔️ A fully updated CV and your best head shot photo.
✔️ Copy of your Passport or ID.
✔️ Proof of qualification and transcripts.
✔️ One or more references from previous/current employers.
✔️ One-minute video introducing yourself.
✔️ Ages 18-35
✔️ Good to fluent English skills.
