Hot Section Chef de Partie – Top Restaurant – Stellenbosch

Our client is seeking a talented and passionate Hot Section Chef de Partie to join their kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hot section cooking, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.


  • Execute and oversee the preparation and cooking of hot section dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of food orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hot section, adhering to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist in menu development and contribute ideas for new dishes.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.


  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with a focus on hot section cooking.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Creative flair and a passion for food and gastronomy.
