Hot Kitchen Chef de Partie – 5* Establishment – Paarl

Our client takes pride in delivering a world-class dining experience that complements the exceptional wines produced at their vineyard. As they continue to strive for culinary excellence, they are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview: We are currently looking for a talented Chef de Partie specializing in hot kitchen operations to contribute to the success of our clients renowned restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, precision, and a strong work ethic to their kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets the high standards that their guests expect.

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook hot dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and specifications.

Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to develop innovative and seasonal menu items.

Ensure the highest level of food quality, taste, and presentation.

Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in hot kitchen operations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.

Monitor and control inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar role in a high-end restaurant.

Culinary degree or relevant qualification.

Expertise in hot kitchen techniques and cooking methods.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.

Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Salary: R12,000 CTC (Cost to Company)
