Description:

As the Head Chef, you will be at the helm of the culinary operations, responsible for creating exceptional dishes that reflect the luxury and sophistication of the property. Your role will involve:

• Menu Development: Designing and curating seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
• Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring a team of dedicated kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Quality Control: Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained.
• Budget Management: Overseeing kitchen budgets, managing inventory, and minimising waste while maximising efficiency.
• Guest Interaction: Engaging with guests to receive feedback and enhance their dining experience through personalised touches.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Creative and innovative approach to menu planning and food presentation.
• Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management, food cost control, and health & safety standards.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and maintain composure.
• Passion for local produce and sustainability.
