Head Chef – Group of Hotels & Restaurants – Stellenbosch
Our client, a Group of Hotels & Restaurants in the heart of Stellenbosch, is urgently seeking the services of an experienced Head Chef for their Farm-style Restaurant. The restaurant offers traditional South African heritage food with a modern twist.
As the successful candidate, you would need to be someone with a creative flair and a keen eye for detail, and be passionate in the creation and production of top quality dishes using only the best seasonal ingredients.
Requirements:
Experience in running a kitchen;
Exceptional stock control knowledge;
Be prepared to work day & night shifts;
Own transport critical, preferably residing close to Stellenbosch;
Be creative in implementing and designing new menus for the restaurant according to seasonal availability.
Certification in professional cookery
Customer Orientation with a focus on quality culinary fare
Team Work & Cooperation
Impressive food portfolio as well as steady track record is an advantage.
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Results Orientated
Excellent Planning & Organisational skills
Sound Business Communication Skills
