Guest Relations Officer – Boutique Hotel – Sea Point
An exciting opportunity for a friendly and professional receptionist to join a dynamic FO team with an innovative approach to the client experience.
PMS experience – MUST BE Samper Proficient or experience.
Description:
Welcome and greet guests, answer, and direct incoming calls.
Inform guests of hotel with all features & services including rates.
Answer phone to assist guests with their reservations and once done to send their confirmations.
Ensure proper room allocation register and check guests in
Confirm relevant guest information/verify guest’s payment method.
Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone.
Follow standard operation procedures for the hotel and your position.
Complete and maintain any incident reports, daily activity reports or other reports requested by management.
Process accurate payment of guest accounts
Inform housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning.
Monitor visitors to the hotel.
Implement rules and policies of the hotel.
Maintain a neat and orderly front desk and reception area.
Willing to work shifts as per weekly roster.
Requirements:
Experience of 1 year in hospitality
Must have access to transport or own vehicle.
Shift hours based on a weekly roster.
Ability to communicate in English.
Solid written & verbal communication skills
Completion in high school diploma
OTA knowledge
Team player
Confident to work on her/his own.
