Guest Liaison (Lodge Reservations) – Luxury Property – Stellenbosch

Our Client, an exquisite estate nestled in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Guest Liaison to join their team. They provide a luxurious and enchanting retreat for their guests, combining breathtaking natural beauty, world-class art, fine dining, and award-winning wines. As a Guest Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their guests’ experiences are nothing short of exceptional.

Job Summary: The Guest Liaison (Lodge Reservations) is responsible for creating unforgettable guest experiences by managing all aspects of lodge reservations. You will serve as the first point of contact for potential and confirmed guests, offering personalized service and ensuring seamless reservation processes. Your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will help our client maintain their reputation as a premier destination.

Key Responsibilities

Reservation Management:
Handle lodge reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
Provide accurate information regarding room availability, rates, and packages.
Assist guests in choosing the perfect accommodation, taking into consideration their preferences and needs.
Confirm reservations and process deposits or payments as required.

Guest Communication:
Build strong guest relationships by providing exceptional communication and assistance before, during, and after their stay.
Respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and special requirements.
Provide detailed information about our estate’s amenities, dining options, and activities.

Sales and Upselling:
Promote lodge packages, special offers, and additional services to maximize revenue.
Upsell wine tastings, spa treatments, and other experiences to enhance guests’ visits.

Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and organized reservation records and guest profiles.
Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and F&B, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Prepare reports on reservation statistics and occupancy rates.

Problem Resolution:
Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, finding effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.


Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in reservation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
