Group Finance Manager – Hospitality – East Rand
Career defining opportunity to join a leading SA employer as Group FM;
Performance Standard:
- – Ensure accurate monthly consolidation of financial results.
- – Coordinate financial reporting meetings and submissions.
- – Manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- – Oversee tax calculations, submissions, and queries.
- – Maintain fixed asset management and insurance.
- – Review and approve purchase orders and expenses.
- – Lead and oversee the finance team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- – Manage accounting system integrity and external audits effectively.
Description:

- Key Performance Areas:
- – Possess a CA(SA) or BCom in Accounting.
- – Previous experience in hospitality or catering is advantageous.
- – Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- – Proficient in staff management and supervision.
- – Strong planning and administrative capabilities.
- – Capable of working independently and initiating tasks without direct supervision.
- – Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- – Willingness to work overtime as needed, particularly during month-end and year-end periods.
- – Exceptional attention to detail.
- – Comprehensive understanding of financial control environments and management practices.
- – Sound knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS.
- – Skilled in resolving reconciliation issues effectively.
- – Previous experience with SAGE300 software is preferred
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
- – Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management.
- – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- – Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- – Familiarity with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

- – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- – Previous experience in hospitality or catering preferred.
- – Proven ability to lead teams effectively.
- – Strong skills in planning and administration.
- – Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- – Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- – Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- – Meticulous attention to detail.
- – Comprehensive understanding of financial control environments.
