General Manager – Ultra-Luxury Lodge – Limpopo

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for luxury and exceptional service? Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead their ultra-luxury lodge in the scenic Soutpansberg area, Limpopo. The lodge is set to open in November, and the start date for this role is ASAP.


We are looking for an accomplished and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of a new, ultra-luxury lodge. This role requires a visionary leader who can ensure the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious establishment from its inception and contribute to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the lodge’s success and profitability.
  • Maintain the highest standards of luxury and service to provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and the local community.

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a luxury lodge, hotel, or similar high-end hospitality establishment.
