Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role involves overseeing the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department at a prestigious location. Description:

  • Supervise Food and Beverage staff, providing guidance, training, and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Operations Manager as needed.
  • Conduct regular checks to maintain food quality standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Develop strategies for upselling and implementing promotions to increase revenue.
  • Manage menu changes based on cost analysis, sales reports, and seasonal trends.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Perform regular stock takes and prepare monthly costing reports.
  • Manage financial transactions, including credit card settlements and cash handling.
  • Ensure minimal voids and cancelled orders through effective communication with guests and kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across all F&B outlets.
  • Uphold compliance with food and beverage regulations and company disciplinary policies.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and responsibly refuse service when necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Hospitality Diploma or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in restaurant service supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of service.
  • Flexibility to participate in special projects as required.
