Food and Beverage Operations Manager – 4* Luxury Hotel – Scotland
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Food & Beverage Operations Manager at our client’s luxury 4* hotel in Scotland. The Role:
Oversee and direct all aspects of the operations at the hotel under the guidance of the General Manager
Work with the HODs and Deputy Operations Manager to drive and deliver exceptional customer standards and satisfaction, and to increase productivity and service quality
Chair daily morning briefings and weekly operations meetings
Assist the General Manager in the development and communication of hotel and departmental strategies and goals
Work with HODs to manage all aspects of departmental financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and wage costs
Ensure achievement of all departmental KPIs through collaboration with HODs
Manage team matters such as inductions, probation reviews, absence management, appraisals, annual leave requests, and disciplinary and poor performance issues in collaboration with HODs
Ensure compliance with all statutory and company regulations relating to liquor licensing, food hygiene, employment law, health & safety, fire and emergency procedures
The Person:
A degree in Hotel Management or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential
Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the hospitality industry in a similar role, with significant luxury hotel experience
Experience working at a senior level, managing other departmental heads
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team
Exceptional planning, organizational, and coordination skills with attention to detail
Compensation: Competitive salary plus service charge
