Responsible for handling financial matters in respect of the business unit and the coordination of financial affairs in the office. Accountable for Transaction processing, Reporting, Control and Decision Support.

Key Performance Areas and Accountabilities
Accounts Preparation: Management and Statutory Accounts
 Load payments to suppliers
 Allocating of payments to suppliers
 Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
 Assist with external audit requirements, such as gathering supporting evidence
 Petty cash reconciliations
 Month end stock sheet reconciliations
 Clearing account maintenance
 Sales reporting analysis

Additional Roles or Responsibilities
 Perform additional duties or responsibilities, which fall reasonably within the ambit of the job description, or in accordance with operational requirements.
 Stand in for employees who are on leave or sick
 Creditor’s processing
 Payroll administration


 An accounting / finance diploma or degree

Environmental / Legal Requirements
 This position demands exceptional quality, attention to detail, strict adherence to pre-determined deadlines in a high pressure environment.
 Ability to deliver on tasks independently.
 High level of resilience and persistence
 Must have a clear criminal and credit history

 A minimum of 3 year experience in accounting function

 Sound accounting background

System Skills
 Microsoft Office – Intermediate (Required)
Xero Accounting
 Micros
 ERP Systems

Knowledge and Skills
 Highly numerate and competent in Excel
 Work under pressure in deadline environment
 Ability to troubleshoot and analyze data.
 Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.
 Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels effectively and efficiently.
