Finance Manager – Game Lodge – Skukuza, Mpumalanga

Are you an experienced Finance professional ready to take on a leadership role in a unique and dynamic setting? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team as a Finance Manager at their Game Lodge in Skukuza. As the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the overall operational accounting domain of the property.


As the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the overall operational accounting domain of the property.
  • Collating, analysing, and summarising key financial and operational information from all owned entities and managed properties.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes.
  • Overseeing budgeting and forecasting activities to drive financial performance.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimise financial operations.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all entities and properties.
  • Lead financial reporting processes, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in the hospitality or lodge industry.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
