F&B Manager – Luxury 5* Property – Constantia
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced F&B Manager to join our client’s prestigious establishment. Located in a stunning setting, the property is known for its exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and luxurious accommodations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all outlets.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and enhance the overall dining experience.
Manage and train a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve excellence in service delivery.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to create innovative menus and culinary offerings that cater to the preferences and dietary requirements of our discerning guests.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the availability of high-quality ingredients and beverages.
Implement and maintain proper inventory control and cost management procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing requirements.
Continuously monitor guest satisfaction levels and promptly address any concerns or issues that arise.
Stay updated with industry trends and developments, incorporating them into the food and beverage operations as appropriate.
Assist the General Manager in various administrative tasks and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role, preferably with previous experience as an Assistant General Manager.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering impeccable standards of service.
Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
Familiarity with industry trends and a passion for staying up to date with the latest developments.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
