We are seeking a skilled Executive Housekeeper to lead our client’s Housekeeping Department efficiently and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness at their Lodge in Skukuza. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in upholding company policies and ensuring a pristine guest experience.

Description:

As the Executive Housekeeper, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently managing the Housekeeping Department in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the prescribed company standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility.
• Overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping staff to achieve exceptional cleanliness standards.

Key Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Develop and implement cleaning protocols to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring proper levels are maintained for daily operations.
• Train and develop housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The lodge boasts 128 units, including 87 standard rooms, 20 family rooms and 13 universal rooms

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role.

Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Knowledge of inventory management and budget control.
