Executive Housekeeper, 5* Hotel – Johannesburg
Our client is a prestigious 5* Hotel in Johannesburg, where luxury meets exceptional service. We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our dedicated housekeeping team in providing an unforgettable guest experience.
Description:
- Work closely with contract companies and seasonal workforce to maintain the highest standards synonymous with a 5* Hotel
- Handle guest interactions with the utmost professionalism, resolving complaints promptly and ensuring all special requests are accommodated to exceed guest expectations
- Inventory & Budget Management – Oversee inventory control and manage divisional expenses, including uniforms, linens, and cleaning supplies, to ensure optimal resource allocation without compromising on quality
- Lead recruitment efforts, mentor, and provide performance evaluations for housekeeping staff
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes high morale and exceptional service delivery.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to update the team on hotel policies, service standards, and ways to enhance guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting
