The Executive Chef is responsible for leading and managing the culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and service. Overseeing all food-related functions, including restaurants, room service, and catering, this role works alongside the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure the financial success and customer satisfaction of the operation.

Description:

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing culinary strategies aligned with business objectives, managing budgets, and improving performance through innovation and process improvement. The Executive Chef oversees food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety compliance. They provide leadership and direction to the culinary team, ensuring consistency in product quality and service delivery while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

This role requires a hands-on approach, including performing culinary tasks and providing training and guidance to the staff. The Executive Chef will also review financial reports, manage expenses, and develop action plans to achieve department goals. Working closely with the food and beverage leadership team, they will ensure the team meets revenue targets while maintaining guest and employee satisfaction.

Requirements:

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent; 6 years of senior management experience in culinary, food and beverage, or event management.

Alternatively, a 2-year degree in a related field and 4 years of senior management experience.

Core Activities:

Lead kitchen operations and ensure all food preparation areas meet quality and safety standards.

Oversee budget development and management.

Foster a collaborative team environment, driving innovation and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with culinary standards and guest satisfaction initiatives.
