We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Direct Reservations Manager to join our dynamic client in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the reservations department, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maximized occupancy rates. This role requires a proactive leader with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.

Description:

– Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring efficient and accurate booking processes.
– Develop and implement strategies to optimize room occupancy and revenue.
– Manage and mentor a team of reservations agents, providing training and support as needed.
– Handle guest inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
– Monitor and analyze reservation trends, reporting on key metrics to senior management.
– Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create promotions and special packages.
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a reservations or front office management role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in reservation systems and MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
