Our client, a leading adventure travel company headquartered in Kenya, is seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist who is proficient in Dutch to join their marketing team. Description:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our marketing team, collaborating closely with colleagues in the Southern Africa unit. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conceptualising and executing creative marketing campaigns tailored to our adventurous European target audience.
- Managing and optimising social media content, ads, and email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
- Overseeing online marketing agencies and freelancers in the European regions to ensure effective collaboration and results.
- Developing visually appealing ads and brochures that showcase the unique experiences we offer.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create targeted marketing plans based on customer journeys and personas of European travellers.
- Utilizing Google Analytics and other tools to analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements based on data insights.
- Providing clear communication and project management to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within the travel industry.
- Proficiency in setting up and optimising social media content, ads, and email marketing campaigns.
- Strong visual design skills and the ability to create engaging marketing collateral in Dutch.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with Google Analytics (GA4) and interpreting campaign data.
- Knowledge of AdWords and SEO best practices.
- Passion for travel and ideally have visited Africa previously.
