Description:

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our marketing team, collaborating closely with colleagues in the Southern Africa unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conceptualising and executing creative marketing campaigns tailored to our adventurous European target audience.
  • Managing and optimising social media content, ads, and email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Overseeing online marketing agencies and freelancers in the European regions to ensure effective collaboration and results.
  • Developing visually appealing ads and brochures that showcase the unique experiences we offer.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create targeted marketing plans based on customer journeys and personas of European travellers.
  • Utilizing Google Analytics and other tools to analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements based on data insights.
  • Providing clear communication and project management to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Proficiency in setting up and optimising social media content, ads, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Strong visual design skills and the ability to create engaging marketing collateral in Dutch.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics (GA4) and interpreting campaign data.
  • Knowledge of AdWords and SEO best practices.
  • Passion for travel and ideally have visited Africa previously.
