Demi Chef de Partie (Hot Section) – Hotel & Conference Venue – Pretoria Far East
An amazing opportunity exists for a talented and success-hungry Demi Chef De Partie in the hot section to join a top team and prepare food in accordance with the standard recipes and specifications in the designated area of work as determined by the Head Chef at their Pretoria venue
Role Responsibilities:
– Preparation and cooking of food
– Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (A la carte)
– Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy
– Maintaining Health and Safety standards
– Providing customer service to staff and customers
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience within hospitality, ideally in a fine dining operation
Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications, including Basic Food Hygiene
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
]Excellent ability to communicate effectively
The ability to meet hygiene standards
Be self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative
