Debtor/Creditors Clerk – Cosmetics Supplier – Johannesburg

A luxurious cosmetic supplier is looking for a Debtors/Creditors Clerk to keep a record of customers’ accounts at an undertaking and recover the undertaking’s debts.

Description:

Non-Negotiables:

1. Clear understanding of Reconciliations on Excel and ability to learn formulas and functions for Excel.
2. Debtors and Creditors experience.
3. Working hours from 8am – 5pm.
4. Accounting Package experience (sage/ Evolution/Quick books) Palladium a Plus.
5. Smoking is not allowed.
6. Must not fear animals, especially dogs.
7. We require references contact details of the management person they reported to as these will be contacted to establish their ability.

Requirements:

Hard Skills:

• Basic Accounting Diploma or Certification
• Must be computer literate – Software used: Palladium accounting, Online ordering portal, One Drive – file share, Outlook emails & online calendar, Excel.
• Reconciliation and Debtors and Creditors experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and in professional manner with Clients.

Soft Skills:

• The position requires strong inter-personal, organisational, admin and multi-tasking skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Time management essential, with the ability to complete work timeously and ask for support when needed. Ability to work under pressure and with Deadlines.
• Understand the need to handle tasks to completion, supporting multiple communication devices/software (whatsapp, emails, calls)
• Capable of learning and following company SOPS
• Clear understanding of Reconciliations on Excel and ability to learn formulas and functions for Excel
