Calling all Chef de Parties that would love a fantastic Opportunity to work in the UK!
Skilled Visa paid for by this lovely country hotel, with potential to turn into permanent residency after your contract!!
Salary: £26,500 per year based on 39 hours per week. With additional hours pro rata (approx R43500k per month in SA terms).
Accommodation is offered for the first month and then they will help you to find accommodation in the local area with use of a company car.
MUST HAVE BUSY RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE
Skilled Worker Visas
Please note that if you do not have a British Passport, you will require a Skilled Worker Visa – there will be some costs involved, most of which are incredibly covered by the hotel. The candidate will be required to pay for the flight to the UK, the TB medical test and the English Proficiency Test (Approximately R11700).
REQUIREMENTS
English Language (reading, written, spoken and understanding)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a quality hotel or restaurant with excellent references and paperwork to validate this.
Professional experience as a chef
A stable work track record
Clean criminal record
In good health with physical ability to undertake the role
DUTIES
Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
Ability to work Starters, Mains and Dessert.
Supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels with a calm, positive and respectful manner.
Observing for health and safety and food hygiene practices
Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines once trained in UK standards.
