Camp Manager – Luxury Five Star Lodge – Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal
Our client, a luxury five star game lodge is looking for a Camp Manager to join their team. You must be a highly energetic, enthusiastic team player who adheres to world class Hospitality and Service standards, able to lead people and correct things whilst working under pressure to meet guests’ needs. Your work ethic must exceed the standard of the Lodge. This position is ideally suited to a proactive, career orientated person looking to make a difference in the world of hospitality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Valid unendorsed SA driver’s license essential
Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staff
Previous camp manager/safari host experience an advantage
Previous experience in working with kids an advantage
KEY OUTPUTS:
Managing stock control
Managing bar service and control
Management of guest delight activities
Management of staff
Overall hospitality and food
Overseeing general appearance and management of maintenance issues
Staff – skills development
Drive community development projects in conjunction with the foundation
Understand & manage budgets, GP’s & finances
This is a permanent live-in position. Transport to/from leave cycles is the successful candidate’s own responsibility.
