Leading and listed outsourced solutions supplier in SA is looking to fill the exciting and key role of Business Development PM based in JHB, to support operations and business growth through sourcing and securing business. Reports to Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

Description:

• Client database is scrutinised and leads and contracts are evaluated for business opportunities
• Appointments are diarised on a planner and presentations are prepared
• Appointments with prospective clients are attended to and the Company and its services are presented in a professional and appropriate manner
• Prospective client needs and budgetary constraints are evaluated and an opportunity to present a formal proposal is secured
• various other related business activity incl not limited to events, road shows, functions, etc etc

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Development or Marketing, or similar.
• Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) preferred.
• Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry.
• Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.
• Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
• Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
• Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships.
• Competency in negotiating and closing business deals.
• Ability to advise on possible joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
