My client is an international hotel group with an opportunity for a savvy Bar Manager to establish their career locally and potentially on a larger scale down the line

As the Bar Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the bar, including beverage service, staff management, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your extensive knowledge of mixology, strong leadership skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to establishing the hotel

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and cost control
Develop and maintain an innovative cocktail menu, reflecting current trends and guest preferences
Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance on beverage preparation, service techniques, and upselling
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and product quality
Collaborate with the F&B Manager and Executive Chef to create beverage pairings and promotions
Monitor and evaluate guest feedback, taking proactive measures to improve service and offerings
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and participate in professional development opportunities

REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE

Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within a luxury hotel, upscale bar, or restaurant
Extensive knowledge of mixology and beverage trends, with a focus on craft cocktails and spirits
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences
Detail-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for presentation and quality
Familiarity with bar inventory systems and point-of-sale software is preferred
Relevant certifications in mixology or bartending are advantageous
